Places are reserved at the top table for the chairman and distinguished guests. Name cards are prepared and a list, in order of seating, placing the speaker on the right of the chairman. Places are also reserved for the press. Those concerned are notified of these top table arrangements by the simple expedient of pinning a note to their badges.
